Default Trim Tab motor assy. ?

Are the Trim Tab complete motor/hyd's assy. and the Outdrive motor/hyd's trim motor assy. interchangeable ?

Meaning, can you use a Mercruiser outdrive trim motor complete set-up for K planes appl.?

2001 Mercruiser motor/hyd. assy for K-planes.

Thank you for your replies !

I'm using them for my tabs. Open 72 is right, you have to reverse them, I just ran the hydraulic lines up to the down port on the tab. The only difference is that the drive pump runs the tabs REAL fast- I only bump the tab rocker switch lightly to get all the movement I want, takes a little different technique.

Correct.. But be careful on some of the newer stuff. There are some pumps that are high psi & some that are low psi hi volume. They will both move the plane but they would move at different speeds depending on the pump.

you can vary the speed a bit by changing the viscosity of the hydraulic fluid - jeff
