What is everyone using? I am considering the Ionics water conditioner and reverse osmosis. And since this is in the GD section the water will be used for washing the boat

Have one at home, good product. Some models do not filter out fluoride.

Look at UV systems. If your looking to kill Ecoli and such the reverse os. won't do it even if they say they will. One way to remove some chlorine is filters that remove it. The uv lights can be expensive to maintain but work.

I have a 5micron in line followed by a 1 micron in line then Pure water filters at the sink. So showers and laundry water get some filtering and drinking water gets more. The 5 and 1 micron pre-filters are key, the Pure filters last much longer then. Works well. Fairly cheap, very low maintenance, changes filters now and then.
Here's where i got it all

Actually Chlorine has no benefit for your skin. It strips the skin of its protective layer and causes dry and itchy(this is what kills me) skin.Which
leads to cracking, premature aging, wrinkles and inhibiting the skin’s vital function of protecting the body.
Most Water has as much if not more chlorine in it than a swimming pool.(if it is not well water)
I know this from being a competitive swimmer for 14 years(Hurrican swim club) and doing research to find some sort of relief from the itchiness.
