Default Need Help

I just never cease to be amazed with the ammount of knolege that is on here....
I have an 86 Scarab Ninja with TRS drives..... I have just noticed when I went to clean the drives for painting Both
have cracks around the gearcase bullet.... looks like salt water corrosion has expanded the housing.
My questions ..... are lower housings still available?
If not which of the speedmaster lowers will bolt on?
Thanking everone in advance Ed

Housings are a tough find.

Forget SSM II's- they're very rare and expensive when you do find them. Plus they tend to be more fragile than the TRS.

Post pictures if you can. Are you sure you dont have nose cones and they are coming loose from saltwater getting up behind them?

Yes, new housings are still available, we normally keep them on the shelf.

Speedmaster III's have a completely different mounting hole and the X dimension (drive length) is different. Not an easy swap. Props for the III are much more expensive as well.

I just upgraded my membership now I just need to figure out how to attach a photo....
I've been working on her for about six months and seem to be making some progress.
Took her out on the water for the first time last Saturday and was pleasantly supprised.
