how do i replace the cable's. sounds like a silly ? but i don't really see how to remove cable's . any help ? thank's.. also there about 1986 era.

there is a pin that slides thru all 4 (or 2) cables ..pull the cotter pin and then pull the pin ...then you can rotate each cable .... you have to rotate it pretty far to get it to release from the fork on the throttle ...m

thanks, i got the pin part but wasn't how to get it off at the top. i thought that was how but wasn't realy sure.thanks couldn't find any manuals on them.

Just make sure when you rotate the cable you dont break the outer cover of the cable ...meaning the aluminum end ...you can breakor bend the end of the outer cable when your trying to pivot the cable up to remove it from the controls ..m
