Default Hydromotive QIV X Thoughts??

I just ordered a 23p QIV X for my 26 Powerquest w/stock 454mag EFI. Just wonder if anyone else has any experience with one of these props on a single engine application.
I have been running a 23p & 21p Mirage plus with mixed results.

I live somewhat near Hydromotive, They are some nice people over there.
I bought a Q1V a couple years back.
My cruise speed picked up nicely with the 4 blade and probably saves me a good little bit on gas.
Had my prop Rec. labbed by them in the spring, But I can't give you a comparison because I just rebuilt my engine before.

Far as I know they are still exchanging props for around $30. if it does not work out.

I assume you have the X series. That will be the better choice for your hull than the standard Q4.

Yep your correct.Had a chance to run the 23p tonight and it's heading back.Little to big a wheel. Slower out of the hole than my 21 Mirage Plus. Very nice cruise speed however. 4000 rpm at 50mph. I'll have to double check tomorrow agin with the 21 but I beleive that one ran 45mph at the same RPM. Top was another story it was a little rough at 2-3' and all I could get was 54mph at 4400rpm. It was a handfull at that. I'm thinking maybe a 21p
