Default 24' outboard conversion

I am toying with the idea of converting my 24 I/O to a twin outboard setup.
Has anyone ever done this?
I located a stainless marine twin bracket with swim platform 80"wide 30" setback and setup for 11deg transom, any issues using this?
I am in the beginning stages of thinking thru this conversion so any thoughts are appreciated.

Considering the 30K for a pair of 300's or 225's plus the rigging and such it may be a better idea to just drop in a 496HO or a 525 with fresh water cooling and use the extra cash for go juice. Or take the 30 and your boat and get one turnkey with the outboards factory rigged.

I will do 6500 (w/o the 2nd trans) for the boat to offset the drive. Let me know. I really do not think that you will beat this price for a pantera.
