Is it the gear rack or the coil rack? I have mine apart, if yours is the geared rack I'll look and see if I can find a part number on it.

Cant remember exactly, but I believe the length is stamed on the cable somewhere, last 2 digits of the part # I believe, or you could just measure it.

the digits are worn off and i wanted to order one but not disable the boat. it is the rack and pinion. the last number is either a 16 or 18 i dont know. and i have the part numbers to get a whole helm and cable for like 20.00 more than a cable itself. all you have to do is fugure length. i only want to take it out once. it binds a little.

Here are the numbers off the one in my 240, same hull as yours.

MORSE E300619 192IN 3948

My guess is the 192IN is the length, 16 foot.

cdeezy, you can upgrade theentire cable and helm to the rack if you want with the latest and greatest. take cable length at the end of this part number. ss141 so my cable and helm is a ss14116 look it up it is pretty cheap.
