The mirror on the underside of the hatch would it not be mirrored stainless......like the hatch undersides of Donzi and Sunsation??
I am curious to the thichness of the fiberglass hatch...is it as simply as using a short screw and not going through into the foam??

I initiallly tried special "mirror adhesives" on the plexi/Lexan ..............save the money and headache of two applications. Use 3M 5200 and a few small screws around the edges. Install upside down, with weights, and let it dry 36 hours or more.

69,
How thick is the hatch? I never thought about it because mine is 3/4" marine grade plywood. If you use the plexiglass you need to put some type of thick rubber washer between it and the mounting surface where the screws are or the mirror finish will scratch because it's on the underside.
