Why all the rust underneath? I had a bad ass '79 6.6L all black/black without a stupid eagle on the hood. Car was sweet but had many problems at 20K miles and got rid of it.....only had it a year (2nd owner). This car here.......it's an old car and will drive like an old car!

I agree, the underneath rust is strange not to mention it is not good for a car to just sit and this has been sitting for a L O N G time.

I would assume the exhaust rust is from starting it and getting things circulating, but not allowing it to get the moisture out of the exhaust, the rest is just how the cars were made back then no real undercoating to protect it. still cool car for someone, good luck with the auction.

I am not buying it with all the rust underneath, and the water stains on the window stickers, besides even if it is rare, its still a pig

I think the rust is strange, as is the window sticker.

I have a car (as I am sure many on this website do) that I only put a few miles a year on (and never been in the rain) and it sits in the garage and it doesn't have any rust on it - even on the parts without undercoating. AND I live in a very salty atmosphere, right at the tip of the Chesapeake Bay.

Oh - and what the hell is an 8-track???
