Default 06 25 Baja Outlaw?

I am about to buy an 06 25 Outlaw my first Baja. It has a 496 HO. Looks great I really think in this size of a boat the Outlaw lines are beautiful. I am wondering if there is any issues on these boats I should know about. Any info would be great. Thanks to all. I look forward to joining the Baja family.

I owned a '98/502. It was a solid, stable, good handling boat. Mine did 68+ gps with 2 peeps and full fuel most every day.

Should be looking for cracking...we have an 07 that just needed $1800 worth of repairs and I just found another one.

Ours were located in the cabin under the benches, I have read and seen others having it around the engine compartment and also around the foot rests.

Other than this issue... it is an awesome boat. Just make sure you go over every square inch before you sign the check.

25OL was a stringer boat not a liner boat. Didn't have the same issues as the liner boats...You'll see stress cracks, but show me a boat thats been in rough water that doesn't have them. The flexing is what causes these...

IMO the 25OL is a GREAT boat and I might look at getting the engine and drive checked, but otherwise I think the rest is visual.

25 is a fantastic boat. Very stable and a good bang for the buck. As with any used boat you should have a survey performed.

Good luck with your purchase.

I thought that I had read the '05s and '06s had this problem as well, wasn't there a few having this issue around the engine and I thought someone else with an '06 had it around the foot rests. Or was it that the 25 OL did not and 23s and 30s did?

I guess I was mistaken.

The problems with major cracking has been in the liner built boats. The stringer built boats such as the 25 have been fine. The problems you have heard on the 2006 and prior boats have been in the 23, 30 and a few 20/202s.

There were several 35's and a couple of 26's as well that had the problems.

We have a 25 Outlaw and love it. We have had no issues what so ever with the boat. You will be happy as well.
