Default sea pump bracket question

Hey guys, I am currently building a stroker motor for my Scarab and was wondering if anyone has an idea as to where I can find an extended seapump bracket to use on this thing. The problem lies with the oil pan, it has a kickout to clear the crank and it's on the side of the pump.....so it does not allow the bracket/pump to line up with mounting holes on the block(near the fuel pump) because the pump housing hits the pan when trying to do so. Any help or advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks- Scott

I noticed in family perf this month Kieth Eckert had a motor displayed with some sort of aftermarket bracket. That might be a good place to start.

It's a BIG BLOCK Audiofn ....454 w/4.250 stroke .60 over (496) I had problems all last year because I kept tossing the sea pump belt. There was no way to adjust the damn thing because I was using the top bolt and kinda eeeehhh.....Jerryrigging the F&^%#ing thing. (Don't ask) Later-Scott

I assume this is a Mark 4 block. I will check out the Gen6 pump for you and see if that looks alike it will work. It is totally different from the earlier styles. It has a idler pulley to tighten the belt.

Audiofn, yep it's a Mark 4 block. It has all seperate accessory belts. I doubt if the newer style serpentine setup will come close to working. Medicine Man supplied me with a couple options though. I believe K. Eckert makes some sort of bracket to handle this problem. All it really needs is for the actual bracket arm to be about 2-3'' longer to allow use of both mounting holes/ and provide enough room for adjustment. Thanks-Scott
