Read the whole report and with no big surprise Amsoil came out as the best choice but I really liked the Penzoil Synthetic number also. I guess maybe one of those two!

If you have had good luck with your royal purple for six years then dont read the report. After reading it you may have a different outlook on what is the best gear lube!

-Been running Royal Purple in my Konrad drives for the last six seasons. Just pulled the top caps, zero wear on the upper gears.

I am going to go with the royal purple gear lube. It is called Max-gear correct? Which weight should I run and anyone know the capacity for a TRS drive?

TRS drive and reservoir together hold 4 Qts.
