Hmm... no screws on mine. I assumed that they just popped off or there was some kind of plastic catch, but I didn't want to break them trying.

Hey Loftis,

Don't you have a 29 Outlaw? At any rate, I took mine off last year. They just popped off but it was not easy. Prepare to rip up all your fingernails. However, no screws - no glue.

Mine just turn about an inch or two to the left and they come off.

29OUTLAW: Nope, it's a 2001 Hammer, 7.4L MPI.

Thanks everyone for the responses!

Try turning the grills left or right they should pop off...if they're real tight, a small, thin L- shaped piece of metal will go a long way on saving your fingernails...just work it in between the grill and the speaker and it will give you the leverage to gently pop the grills out over each of the catches on the speaker frame.

Took me 3 speakers to figure this out...but tthe fourth came right off!!!
