I use Arco marine. I bought a starter from boatUS not too long ago and it was from Arco marine as well. Sorry, I don't have the phone number on ya.

Hugh,
Can't be rebuilt??? Hmmmmm. I would question that one. Is the guy reputable? Just had mine completely rebuilt, powder coated mirror black and candy apple blue. Looks awesome.

I would get a second opinion.

Eric Hall, at "Starter and Alternator Exchange" in Nashville can and will rebuild anything. He's reasonable, too.

He doesn't do alot of automotive because he can't compete with the Hong Kong infusion of cheap auto rebuilt units commonly found at Pep Boys and stuff. They sell lifetime rebuilt automotive units for $40 or so, and he can't compete. His units will outlast the cheapies by a longshot (the cheapies NEED the warranty).

Marine units, Big rig units, Towmotor and other industrial units, those are his forte. Power trim motors, hatch actuator motors, golf cart motors. All his bag.

Find yourself a REAL rebuilder. Get the heck away from the guy you are currently using.

I have new starters in stock for your 502MPI's for 125.00 plus ship. These are made in U.S.A. new units, not rebuilt. Any questions don't hesitate.
