Default Fuel Syestem Upgrade?

I AM RUNNING A GEN 6 502 WITH CANFIELD HEADS PUSHING AROUND 575 HP .IS THE STOCK FUEL PUMP AND FUEL FILTER OK WITH THIS SET UP OR DO I NEED TO UPGRADE TO HIGH VOLUME PUMP AND FILTER WITH BIGGER LINES??

here are two formulas for you to figure cfm requirements first, then gallons per hour required. i don't know what your stock pump puts out or i would have done it for you. i would still go about 10% higher to be on the safe side. Fran

required air CFM =

engine cid X maximum rpm's

x volumetric efficiency

required fuel flow in gallons per hour=

air cfm x 4.38 x 0.08

6lbs. per gallon
