I have 280s on my 27 Formula and I would say they are a little large. You breath on the tab switch and can just about roll the boat on its side. I would probably go with 150s if I were to do it again. Jeff Wurl

well, i got a good deal on them and i dont even have tabs at all. sooo i was wondering if anyone has installed them on a 24 outlaw and where they had them placed. i am running in the low 70s and on smooth watere she can chine hard. also planing can be a little tough sometimes. i will be taking the project on this winter. alsi i will be putting on external steering.

Currently boat is in shop and appearently they are unsure what is wrong with it and having Merc go over the scan.
I keep it in the valley so when I get it back we can meet up and you check them out.

This is my old boat. 95 24 outlaw with 454 mag at 485 hp. The boat did 70 on gps. I loved the kplanes and external steering. The kplanes were easy to install. I mounted the pumps on the transom.
