Default 2007 F550 value

How do you look up the KBB or NADA value of a F550? I have been looking at a 2007, with a pickup truck bed but when you go to KBB or NADA they don't list F550's?

This truck has 112K and is in fair to clean condition, VIN 1FDHW57P07EB17038.

BTW

How many owners out there with 150 to 250K on their 6.0 diesels? I see everyone posting no problems but never have seen anyone with high mileage.

I put in the F350 dually and got a little over $27k without leather so for the 550 figure 29-32k depending on options.

I don't know how the medium dutys are figured, maybe one of our car salesmen will chime in.

As to the motor, I've seen articles in the diesel magazines about swapping the Cummins in when the 6.0s had too many issues. Fixxxer can say more about the 6.0...

Yea I have read a ton about the 6.0's but don't know anybody with a high mileage one.

I knew you would say swap a cummins, but I don't want a project, I have the boat for that.

The reason a lot of 6.0s don't make it into high mileage(300,000 miles and over) is they are worked close to the trucks' rated load limit. The key is knowing what parts fail and replacing them beforehand. Fixxxer knows the 6.0 so he can tell you what should be done to make it last.

I sold my 550 last summer 2006 4x4 hauler bed loaded conversion leather heated power everything, air ride , 6.0 130 k miles [history of issues] 200k mile warranty white, alum wheels took a year to get 33k by the way do you know towing with a 550 gets about 8mph do to gearing and its crazy money to change gear ratio ,because of axle / punkin size. mine was a very cool truck but 6.0 and milage - a 350 0r 450 will get double or tripple the milage and a freightliner or 650 get you a cooler truck

Yea I knew about the mileage but at highway speeds when towing I only get 10 to 12 with my 1996 f250 7.3, so I wasn't to worried about that as much.

F650 would be cool but they are $$$

Thanks sounds like maybe you didn't have the best of luck with your 6.0.

How about an 08 Lariat F450? I have a great deal on one with 55,000 miles. Call me if interested. Trades and financing available.

Well, we've got an 05 Excursion with a 6.0, stock, with almost 200k on it. All original, only AMSOIL synthetics in it. Everyone I know that has left them stock, or has done the stud kit, EGR delete and bulletproof oil cooler, has had no problems.
