Default Drive Stuck in Up Position

i wanted to post here to get the most visibility.

i am having trouble with my starboard outdrive (bravo 1's). it is stuck in the up trim position. i hit the switch the motor kicks on but no movement. i then detached the lines into the rams to see if the outdrive would move with no pressure in the hydraulics...nothing. i think my rams have seized. any inputs or suggestions? i would think with no pressure in the system my hydraulic rams would move up and down no? help...

Hit the down switch with someone standing on sides of the drive...odds are you owe me a beer.

Tried standing on it, nothing. Doesn't budge. I even isolated the rams (left and right) and neither want to go down. I took the bolt off attaching the rams to the outdrive. The drive drops but the rams don't do anything. Just stay at the same length. Frustrating...

you will littery have to jump up and down on the drive to get it to move..mine did it a few years ago and its fine now..this is one of the reasons you are soppose to store them in the down position..

Bad solenoid, loose wire, bad trim motor. Those would be where I'd look Justin.

Do a search on google.....I found some things out on The Hull Truth

Does the motor make a sound when you hit the button? If not, change solonoid. You also test by jumping across the solonoid to test if its bad.

the motor runs and sounds as it should when i press the button but the drive doesnt move. the motor doesnt sound strained either as if it were reaching the full up or down position. the drive moves down like a 1/4" and stops and then goes back up. not sure where to turn next.
