For you diesel guys rumor is that this new V-12 diesel will be available later this year in a 700HP package at some decent rpms and at an incredible weight that may be the best offering in a long time for performance diesel boats.
The question will be can anybody afford two of them!!??
I guess if a few are buying Merc 1350's at $200K a pop these might be on the scene in some new high end performance boats.
Time will tell!

Weight of the aircraft version is 705lbs so the marine version should be not much more than 800lbs right Joe? Beautiful engine too huh?

Thanks for the link. Very interesting motor. What I find unusual is that they decided to go with a 90 degree angle for the V12. Most other v12 engines keep the angle around 65.
