They are there all the time. The movie "jaws" was loosely based on what happened in LBI, around 1920 I think

Exactly right Tim, the dates were in July 1916.

The bay is pretty warm. I've had the kids over to Tice's Shoal twice now - last time (on Memorial Day), the water temp was just about 80 degrees.

I've heard the bay is at 80* already too! Might have cooled down a bit these past couple cold nights! But then today 90+ it will warm right back up again What boat you in over at Tices rainmn? Name, make, model? ... I'll look out for you, we're there most every w/e in an all white Formula 330SS w/ blue graphics (stripes), no name on her ... yet.

Someone catch this thing - as PROOF!!! I don't believe nuttin' till I see it wit my own eyes!! Being from NY/NJ I'm skeptical about EVERYTHING

One of my clients on Martha's Vineyard, Edgartown National Bank, was used in the movie. They have the sign inside their bank that was used in the movie. Ammityville Bank I believe. Pretty neat. Not that a real GW around the beaches is cool

Chris
I'm in a 22' Sea Pro CC...kind of a tough one to spot in that crowd.

It has "Catching Rays" on the front of the electronics box.

We're usually only over there for a couple of hours at a time. My parents live directly across the bay in Sunrise Beach, so it's not as if it's a long ride over.

I'll keep an eye out for you when I'm over there, which will probably be Sunday if it's nice out.
