Bass ackwards is a blow boat race, but the party spills over all weekend on the sandbar behind bassetts island in Bourne. Pretty chill raft up scene on a huge sandbar. Have not missed it in the last 4-5 years.It is a blast for sure,we look forward to it as one of our favorite weekends of the summer. But I did here that this year is not going to be the same.Probably no band,and a large police presence. We will be there regardless.Probably sleep on the boat. We just need someone with a killer stereo and I-pod selection.

Ya I guess I assumed it would be the same as usual. Also assumed cop presence would go up, although I haven't really seen any major issues in the past.
