I hit a very large dog tonite and demolished the front end of my Karmann Ghia. I don't know if I'm going to be able to fix it, I feel like **** for hitting the dog, if I don't find the owner, I'm stuck with the vet bill, and it's my birthday. Life is great! (Sorry, I had to vent) Do any of you legal types know if the dog's owner has any responsibility to fix my car?

Let us know Ghia....Maybe some of us Dog lovers will help with the Vet Bills....As to youre car.........thats what Ins. is for!!!!

Birddog- I am with you...Ghia, if you need help with the vet bills, I'll help, not to be ummm I guess mean, but the car is easier to fix than the dog...I love the Ghia, but I love dogs more...So if you need help with the vet bill let me know...

Thanks for the offers on the vet bill. The dog died this morning I posted fliers looking for the owner today. I really don't want to tell them that I killed their dog.
