My Wife wanted to take the fishing boat out and not the baja hammer, So I Took Both boats to the lake.My wife left one hour before me and took are old 2004 tahoe q7 and she said the boat would not start and she got pushed in to the rocks
.So I got 2 Estimate and they are$11k and NADA.com is only $13k on the boat
I have state farm,Do you think its a total loss?

all she said was The wind drifted the boat into the rocks and then rangers had to push the boat off and pull with a rope to dock. it was her worse experience ever she said, she scared to get on the water now and she had my 3 year old son with her!!

Being that its a tahoe, I'm sure it will be considered a total loss. But they will require more than at least 3 separate quotes from glass shops.. Tahoes are built a little on the thin side as it is and being that close to NADA, I can't imagine they would try to repair it. If I were you, I'd claim it a total loss and find out what the buy back price is. It's usually 80% of what the average bid at the auction would be. So if you were able to buy it back for $2k and shop out the repairs, you could come out on top. Even better if you're willing to tackle the repairs yourself..
