Unhappy Oil temp rising on port engine?

My oil temp is rising on my port engine. I have 350 small blocks with vortec heads. These engine have just been rebuilt. The starboard engine running fine at around 210-220. Port engine is climbing to 260+ and I'm losing some pressure when it gets this high. Both engines have oil coolers. This just started to happen after my engine was pulled to work on the tranny.
Any suggestions on where to trouble shoot?
Thanks

I would check the base timing and total advance for starters.

Since I just had this motor pulled due to reworking of my transmission, I decided to look to see if they had put any plugs in the oil ports. I didn't find any. I then looked at the starboard engine to see how the oil lines were routed. Guess what! The reversed the oil lines on the port engine! Change the lines back and no more temp problems. Luckily I saw this problem early!

Well if that isn't testimonial about the usefulness of oil temp gages, I don't know what is!! I live by them.

Good job magnuman,
