I just ordered:
AGT-05 SAE 80W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube (GL-4), MT-1
5 gallon bucket for under $100, including shipping. I saw their Series 2000, but that was more $$$. I assume that GL-4 is what is preferred? Someone was talking about GL-5 and bronze not being too compatible. This stuff is GL-4.
thanks,
Mark

Amsoil gear lubes
Only difference I can see it the size containers they come in - the marine only go up to quarts...... the "regular" goes up to 5 gallon pails.
This is the info from their site, about the gear lube I purchased - same identical info found on their so-called "marine" GL4 gear lube:
AMSOIL 80W-90 GL-4 Gear Lube is recommended for marine outboard and stern drive lower unit gears and bearings. It is also recommended where the manufacturer specifies GL-4 performance. AMSOIL 80W-90 GL-4 Gear Lube is not recommended as a replacement for API GL-5 products.
