Default Accident near St Charles, MO

This is from RiverBills.com. Just a reminder how fast things can go wrong on the water. Join me in wishing Sherri a speedy recovery.

Gare

Hey Bill

Sherri and my daughter were hit by a wave runner tonight while sitting on the back of my boat. The PWC lost control and hit them. My daugh...ter is a little beat up but okay. Sherri however, has a fractured pelvis in 3 places and a fractured tailbone, she is having some terrible pain.

She is at St Josephs on 1st Capitol in St Charles if you would like to give her a little trouble.

It's crazy to think how quickly things can go wrong. Wishing the best for them.

i hope they are both ok,it seems like a lot of boating accidents involve jet skies lately.

First things first.. I wish them both a speedy recovery! Now, on to the lake lice. I am fed up with these damn things! They are making them too fast. They are becoming manned water missles that are being navigated by idiots. It is unfortunate because there are responsible adults that know how to operate these machines, but they are few and far between.

I have read about way too many boat and PWC accidents this year. We ALL need to pay a bit more attention on the water. There is never really a time you can let your guard down, even when not under power....

AGAIN, I WISH BOTH A SPEEDY RECOVERY (I apologize for my rant).

Sorry to hear............. Hopefully, both will fully recover in record time and they will have no lasting effects. Between the PWC and the throngs of dumbazzes texting and driving, you have to wonder what kind of people us thinkers are surrounded by.

Jeff and his family are great people. I've been praying for Sherri and his daughter to get well soon.

Jeff said they were beached up at a popular local island. While his wife and daughter were sitting on the swim platform, the rider ran over the swim platform. A first time rider on a wave runner came in too fast, let off the throttle, and tried turning.

Thank God it wasn't a 27' warlock like I watched a$$pack a bow rider in Illinois this spring! Hope all people involved make 100% recoveries.
