Default Warning Alarm Help??

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on a warning alarm issue I'm having. I'm getting a warning tone on startup that lasts about 45 seconds and then fizzles out. It can't be an overheat issue because its at startup. My oil level is good and I'm getting water pressure. Does anyone know where else I should look?

Did you check the gear lube level when cold?

Assuming you have a Bravo drive, there should be a reservoir on the inside of transom. It it is 1/2 full cold, this would say the gear lube is not causing the alarm unless the sender is defective. If it is low, add gear lube as noted on the bottle.
