Hey guys,
I'm working on a 2008 Suburban for a good customer of mine, and it has a blown 5.3. The engine lost oil pressure and is toast. I usually don't mess with this kind of stuff, but he is a really good Porsche and Ferrari customer of mine so I want to help him out.
Does anyone know what engines will interchange? I'd like to find a nice low mile complete drop in so I don't have to switch a ton of parts over.
It's a 2008 1500 LTZ 4x4. It has the aluminum LC9, does anyone know if one of these ebay units will work? They list 2010-up on the adds, but being complete with ecu can I swap it all?
Thanks!
Will post vin and airbox code in pics in next post...

i work at a gm dealership.... call gm customer service and blow your stack. you might have to pay a couple hundred for a deductible but they should cover it. go above the heads of the dealership. start a claim with gm stating your case of your motor repair history and you have had problems in the past. then Gm will call the dealership and they should good will it
