Just wanted to share a little idea that I have used in the past but just got a photo of the new set up for my new boat. I am running stainless marine exhaust and I have a cam. I was a little worried about revision, so I made a solution. It cost me about 300 dollars, but it works great and makes the boat LOUD.
Stainless steel 3 inch flex pipe welded to the end of the riser with a stainless weld. Then I cut a 4 inch stainless steel flex pipe to use for the outside jacket. I connected this to the riser with a rubber boot. (stock one for the 454 with silent choice exhaust.)

I beleive you will have problems with that come time. If you take a look at my thread a few threads down, you will see what I did.
the problem you will have is the whole pipe will not cool evenly melting away your coupler. Also, I do not know how water tight that stainless tubing your running is.

I appreciate your concern, but I have ran this set up before. Instead of using a 4 inch flex pipe on the outside, I ran the regular rubber boot. I had no issues what so ever. The rubber boot was actually not blistered at all after putting 60 hours on it. I am a little concerned about the flex pipe being water tight. I filled it up with water and let it sit over night and it did leak out but it was a slow drip. I am going to get some sort of wrap on the exterior so it will be a non issue. The only reason i am running a flex pipe is because of the difference in height in the picture below. Your set up looks really good, but I have had good luck with this in the past.

I converted a set to dry in my old boat when reversion became an issue. I welded the tails closed and welded bungs in for the dumps, worked great but wow was it loud! fyi 110 lobe sep. 231 duration @ .50 648 lift.
