Default steering ram leaking

how hard are they to pull apart and reseal? looks fairly simple but the easy crap usually turns out to be the hard stuff

Ive never done a boat steering ram but reg hydraulics are easy. O ring seals inside. If your worried any local shop hydraulic shop should be able to handle fairly inexpensive. Biggest issue is no Knicks or dings in metal.
