Looks like we are moving to city on The Gulf and our painted steel trailer will probably not hold up very well. Suggestions of aluminum trailer manufactures will be much appreciated.

I have a Magic Tilt, it is what the boat came with when I bought it. It works and serves it purpose. However I do not like the way the boat sits on the bunks ( it is not a custom trailer). I priced out a Manning trailer to be built for my boat and thought the price was fair.

I've got an aluminum Venture that I am not happy with. I've been interested in ordering a Manning so if you go with them, let me know what they tell you.

Thank you for the additional information on Manning and the other manufacturers
That's an idea also, but I am thinking I'll have a better chance of selling the trailer up here. Is there much a of market for steel trailers that far south?
I will look into them as well.
If I go with them I will let you know how it all turns out.
McClain Trailers is in Houston if you decide to wait till ya get down here.

Resale on steel trailers isn't that strong down here. For my 29 McClain wanted a bit over 8k for 12,5k trailer. Myco wanted 13k for a 13k trailer. McClain builds a decent trailer, they are right here in Houston, and have decent customer service.
