putting boat away for winter and want to change plugs. has ngk v power -7 in it crossed over to autolite ar 135's but both ngk's and ar135's seem to be hotter than the mr41t's that are called for. want to use some plugs i can get easily. just looking to see what others are using. thanks.

5673-8 for the NGK's. Parts stores stock them under part #3249. Those are the plugs I run and like in my blower engines.
Another good plug is the AR134 Autolite racings. Those would be the stock heat range from mercury for your 525SC.

How long have the -7 V Powers been in there and have they been working? That's a good plug why change?
I use them in my NA application and was just going to leave them in there if and when I bolt on my blowers.

v powers have about 21/2 yrs on them no problems just thought now is a god time for a fresh set. back seat assembley is out for winterization. and v powers are harder to get. autolite ar's are redialy available. ar 135's cross from the ngk-7 but both are a heat range hotter.
