I have seen them all over the place as far as price. I have seen them as high as 22k and as low as 15k I was thinking of asking like 19k and work from there. I don't want to seem to high but if someone is willing to pay that much I will take it

It's an early 99 and has not been upgraded to the later 99 stuff just the chip intake and exhaust as far as mods. I cant decide what to do I like the truck but would like something newer and maybe not a dually

I would think15K is all the money for a 15 year old truck.......How much was it brand new 30-35-40k?
I am going through a similar deal on a 1500 GMC....employee smacked the front end (lights, grill, radiator, bumper and airbag).....no painted stuff/glass is hit and the truck is probably going to get totaled (2004 107K miles). Insurance is calling low values and high cost to repair (one frame rail is twisted) but all the "classic" GM pickups are now on buy here/pay here lots since the newest model of that style is 2007. The older trucks are preferable due to the fact they have lower beds and are way easier to work out of.....trucks are 4-5 inches shorter than the new ones. Buy here/pay here lots are trying to get 8999+ for beater trucks and the insurance company is telling me 5-6K is all the money!
I can't complain, bought the truck brand new for 16,400 10 years ago and have done brakes/battery/tires and one tranny rebuild (had to be a fluke, had 8 of these trucks and never did a tranny). AC, engine including starter is 100% original. If I get another new truck (identical stripper 1500) is 18,975 so still reasonable considering it is only $2500 more than it was in 2004!
