Default thinking about moving south.. whos got the best boating??

Getting tired of the cost of long island living and the short summer. We are considering the carolinas.. maybe Georgia. Here is what I love about long island.. we have huge bays.. the sound.. peconic the ocean etc. Hudson river is awesome too. We have almost every type of water. Boating is the only reason we still live here. No one breaks my balls running 90 plus with dry exhaust. Where can I find similar boating? I have a 29 kryptonite.

Outer banks area? How is lake norman? Charleston area?

Id hate to move somewhere and have my balls broken over speed.. noise etc. I want people to run with and not be the noisy guy in the middle of fishermen. Post up!!

Florida, they don't call it the sunshine state for nothing, we can (normally) boat 365 days a year.

Carolinas and Outer banks are awesome, Ocean, sound, rivers, and good traveling distance to others as well! Winter not usually too bad however this has been the worst in a while. It was 70 today though

Southern florida hands down. Either east or west coast. Great weather. Lots of interior running. Bahamas, key west, Tampa bay. Tons of accessible places by boat. BEST WEATHER!!

Yes thats me.. id move the shop with me.

Yes florida is always tempting to me also. Im worried about it being too hot in the summer to where I wont want to do anything during the day. I need to spend some time there in the summer and see how I like it. You guys definitely have good boating. Any noise laws?

I'm not gonna sugar coat it. It's hot as hell. Lol. July and August are really the worst. But the other 9 months if the year it's beautiful. I'd rather have 2-3 really hot months and 9-10 beautiful then 3 hot and 9 cold!! Lol

We spent our first Summer down here last year (21013) and it didn't seem any hotter than a normal Midwest summer, keep in mind back at LOTO we get in the triple digits and high humidity all the time, so having a house with a pool behind it and on the ICW where we get the nice ocean breeze was kind of a nice change and like I.C.U. said that other 9 months are "golden"
