WOW I think the article forgot something or Ilmor forgot a very important part of Scorpion Racing which is Frank. The face, hands on guy and promoter of Scorpion Racing is Frank. The reason my motors were built by Scorpion Racing was and is Frank.......................

A terrible shame with all of Illmores expretise they need to take the Goliath road to break into offshore racing. Pretty sure everyone here knows who built Scorpion Racing.

Not exactly sure how to take this comment. Unless you have been in a hole for the last few years Scorpion Racing has been building engines for half the Supercat field.

What do you mean? I do think buying Scorpion was a big deal and, Yes, I know a bit about racing.

The smiley funny was because of my stupid pun, step/footprint.

Sorry, just wasn't sure how to take it. Yes it is a huge step to jump into offshore racing. It is a terrible shame when the deep corporate pocket books have to swallow a company that made a name for themselves in what is the premier class of offshore racing. Not to mention they power some of the fastest pleasure boats on the great lakes and all over the U.S.

Frank McCommas has all the respect in the world from me. Does anyone find it strange that Illmore decided to buy Scorpion over all the other "well known" engine builders? I would like to think Frank had a tremendous amount to due with that. To bad he helped build a company up to what it is only to get the short end of the stick.
