I bet you're not the only one that "donated" some belongings to the lake, especially at the falls. I'll take a swim and see what I come across down there
Seriously, could you imagine all of the sh*t laying at the bottom around the falls? I would venture to guess there are three of four solid layers of "beverage" cans and bottles covering the bottom.
My uncle dropped a pole off his boom setup that went to his barefoot ski boat that let's you barefoot next to the boat. It went to the bottom in 40-50 of water. He and a friend came back two months later to the same cove with their scuba gear and found it. They said it was pure luck, because visability was horrible.

I'm going, need info.
Had a michigan trip planned and the weather
is going to suck. Leaving weds. night, driving
half way. Will stay till mon. am. Where to launch?
where to stay? Any cabins or hotels with a dock out
front. Or pull in and out. Where do the hot boats
hang out, I said "hot" not "house". Any help will

We always launch from State Dock. The party is at 76 Falls. (might go w/o kids there) The powerboats will head to the dam Sat evening to hang out after spending the day at the Falls.

We are heading down Friday evening and staying till Sunday. I havent been down much since July been real busy around here but the light at the end of the tunnel is now bright. Will be down every weekend from this one on till the end of October.
P.S. someone needs to outlaw wedings during boating season.

Brian, Were you around last weekend? I sent you an email at work. Anyway, I might go back down, but I'm not 100% sure yet. Have Friday off. I stayed in a slip @ Grider Hill becuase the weather was not the greatest. Tried to find you, but I never saw your boat.
