Default Engine Guru's 502 Question

What applications other than marine use, was a 502 used ? Did GM put these in cars or trucks etc.?

I am far from a Guru but I think they were used in some of those big "Pimp" Eldorados in the seventies.

The 500 inch Caddy motor was a different engine alltogether. The 502 Chevy was not the 500 Caddy.

I think the 502 was an option on some GM medium duty trucks.
