Default Do any of the Go Fast CC owners here fish on their boat?

I'm in the market for a large CC for cruising and fishing in Sou
th FL. I'm wandering if anyone on this site with a CC does any fishing and how well do their boats perform at this duty. The boats that I have interest have AC's in their small cabins to get away from the hear, do any members have this option and if so how well does it work?
Thanks
Brad

Most guys have said they won't let fish near their CC's on here. Seems odd to me since it's a fishing boat

A pack of boats (including mine) got passed hard by a 38 fountain with triples during the Clearwater races.

Just saying.

Not many that I know that have "performance" center consoles use their boats for fising, I certainly do not (33 Avance). These boats really are not set up for fishing, most don't even have rod holders. "Fishing" center consoles usually have wider beams, less deadrise for stability, and rarely have cabins with a/c. However, you may want to look at Intrepid, Yellowfin, Blackwater, SeaVee, Invincible or Contender for a good combination.

There are several CC on the market that have cabins with AC, head, berth, TV ,generators and even grills. I have lost the thrill of gong fast and would like to do weekend trips to the keys and Bahamas. As I look at the boats on the market and the popularity of CC, seems that the "go fast" builders are accommodating buyers who like the utility of the boats more than there fish potential. As TheDonz pointed out some of these brands such as Yellowfin and Invincible will run with the Go Fast brand for speed and rough water. Just trying to get feedback, thanks.

I have a 38 CC Fountain, with triple 300 merc package.
It is set up for fishing, pleasure and cruises in the mid 70's.

I have changed the outside wrap a few times, and developed a custom rear tower on the transom.

It is an amazing boat, and one of my favorites.

If you find a great CC, it will give incredible flexibility and enjoyment.
