I'm replumbing my oil sustem to include a thermostat and it got me to wondering.

Anyone have pics of the best place to locate an oil filter head?

It can be mounted anywhere you want. On my 24 Outlaw, I made a bracket and mounted it to the transom.

I am doing the same thing and ended up getting one of those billet brackets with the Hardin remote filter.

Does anyone prefer it to be mounted threads up or down?
