Default 4 and 7 swap

I have a 525 cam in my 502 and I am.having ignition timing issues does anyone know if the the stock 525 efi has the 4 and 7 plug swap

You can get the 525EFI CAM from Crane with the 4/7 swap. Do you have paperwork for your cam ? Or did you get it used ?

it would be a dead miss on 4 and 7 if it was a swapped cam. running on 6 cyls.

Sorry for the side track, but any real benefit to this swap? Would it at least sound cooler?

The real Advantage is five and seven aren't firing one after the other in the same exhaust manifold with the ports right essentially next to each other. But it's not a huge advantage. Some people like the way it sounds better with the 4-7 swap.
