Default 525 sc gurus

In the process of collecting parts for my 525 sc rebuild and ARP main studs are on the list...I haven't opened mine up yet due to my work schedule so bear with me...

Does anyone know if a 97 525 sc is a 2 bolt or 4 bolt main??

thanks

i just looked , I have 2 sets of new arp main bolts not studs... You do realize if you use main studs you have to line bore the mains.

I did not know that...so if I use the bolts is it as simple as just rebolting the mains back on after replacing bearings and balancing rotating assembly??

would you want to sell a set of the bolts??

Should be around the 650 hp range...256 blower with chiller, forged pistons/rods, dart iron eagle heads, roller cam/rockers....would the bolts be sufficient??

thanks

I see no reason to run main studs, if you feel iffy on the bolts ARP bolts then, you will want to replace the rod bolts and size the rods for sure..
