Default After Short Day, Fountain Coming Back For Kilo Record Attempt Tomorrow

Hard at work to improve their boat's performance, the Fountain crew will be back on the kilo course attempting to set a record tomorrow, https://speedonthewater.com/in-the-n...tempt-tomorrow.

Good luck gentlemen. This "Kilo Record Attempt" sure has been fun to follow, power boating is back thanks to Fountain and Sterling Power!

Anyone else hearing they may have to put the Kilo attempt on hold for a while to make the necessary modifications?

I thought it was reported that this boat was running 160-165 at half throttle? 175 seems un-impressive if initial reports were true?

what did the OL have that broke the record? Hopped up 1650’s? 1800 hp?

the fountain has 200-300 more HP? And it’s only seeing 175? I’m confused?

https://speedonthewater.com/in-the-n...-run-barrier-2

1650's were from Scotto's boat... yes less power and broke the record.

Lots of hype and chest pounding until the Fountain finds speed - def. has power
