The ravages of salt water boating has me thinking "closed cooling" but not much to choose from for a 572 tall deck EFI engine........anybody doing or has done?

Looking myself right now for a tall deck . CP Performance has a set up , I talked to Russ at Mr. Cool , he said a ""off engine " exchanger , I never seen a set up like that in a boat bilge . I would like a full FWC system . You looking for a full or half system?

My alternator is on Starboard side not lower Port and I'm not altering the serpentine system. CP system as well says 9.8 deck , and brackets made to mount exchanger to front of heads , again , on my engine the serpentine brackets utilize those holes on heads.

Full system........just spent $5,500 for a pair of Imco powerflow manifolds and risers and I know to well how salt attacks aluminum

Rebuild 575 SCI's and add closed cooling system This is good to read, his application was even harder because of his SCI engines...but he had many modifications to tackle.

New set of SM here .... so yeah, would like to protect it all if possible...

Same here would love to put closed cooling on my 572 in the Talon

That's a clean looking engine how many hours on it?...........salt water use only?........a full closed cooling system would extend the inside life by double!
