Possible PCM 555 issue, this is not uncommon for all ecm / pcm 555 s. I get these in daily for testing and repairs. Also I am sure that your 600 sci engine will need some upgrades so this does not happen again.. These ecm / pcm 555 have issues all the time, there is not one day at least one is sent in. I am no BS ing..

Here is one of the many - the fuel pump can fail either way -- It never turns on or it never turns off. It just depends on the internal failure within the pcm / ecm for a jist of that info. . . It was sent in and fixed. Link below from a couple of years ago.

Do you have oil pressure reading off the sender??
I'm not sure on the 600's (BUP would probably know off the top) but without a base reading oil pressure from the sender, the Fuel pump will not trigger on some engine management systems (bad connection or bad sender)...just something to verify as you diagnose your issue before pulling the ECM.
Take BUP's advise......if your ECM is bad, might as well save shipping and have him clean/ inspect your injectors ( save performance and future downtime on one shipment)

BUP will be able to guide you thru it and use his services, he really has the knowledge on 525/600/700, etc. Have you plugged in a Rinda scan tool to get the codes? Engine could be in guardian mode, also many other possibilities causing a no start condition. Could be your safety lanyard. There are also service bulletins for the 600SCI that if not performed will affect how the engine runs, starts even burning out the PCM. It's worth getting BUP on board and utilizing his services.

Any updates on this problem, had similar issue today on my 2010 600 sci, boat was fine last used on Monday, went to start today and fuel pump not priming on ignition and will not start, dash shows sys fault 80 critical- engine voltage main power relay not working properly, what we have found so far is the relay has tested good, but there is no power or earth connection coming from the holder and if we bridge the connection that the relay should make the pump runs and engine will start although prob in limp mode as buzzer going off, any help much appreciated.checked out lanyard etc already.

He did not send his PCM 555 in to me. So I can not comment. Some of these guys on this post know exactly what I do and how many per day I get in ECM s / PCM s. The other day 10 alone came in for testing and repairs.

Dose this sound likely to be my ecm then from what I described above, also on last trip I had a water hose come off at front of engine above alternator so got a little hot, quickly shut down and fixed problem but a lot of steam in engine compartment at the time, run well for rest of day and good soapy wash after, then this fuel pump problem on next visit to the slip. I am in the uk.
