Looking to see the difference as I understand 96 SR1's have a notched transom.

My understanding of the notch is with the running surface moved forward of the transom it helps to get cleaner water to the props. Kind of like stand off boxes but using the hull itself to do it.
If this is not right someone can school me too. lol
