Hello, per the title above (that i ran out of room typing) what sensors/features are monitored and able to be shown on the Mercury vessel view app installed on a 2006 496 Mag HO engine? I just purchased the Mercury Vessel View hardware module, as I found it on a black Friday sale. My boat is currently in inside storage several miles away from me so I won't be installing this until spring. : ( I'm curious if this app will show me a real time fuel pressure reading? If not who do I need to contact at Mercury to have them add this feature to it? What other sensors/features am I able to monitor with this app via my Iphone screen besides the Engine hours, Speed, RPM, and it looks like some fuel usage stuff? Thanks in advance for your response please tell me all of the other features that I'm able to monitor with this module on my engine.

Just a heads up, I have it on my 2004 496HO. I thought it was useless as I could just get RPM, hours, and speed. I asked on another forum what I was doing wrong as I wanted more info from it. It turns out you have to swipe the screen a direction to get to another page of gauges, and you can customize the view somewhat. I haven't had the chance to try it out yet but do know it was user error on my part.

I have been wanting to buy this also. Does it show hours x rpms like the scanner?

I have a couple screenshots off mine.. I eventually went to the vesselview LINK.. on a 12" Simrad as I could't see my phone good enough in direct sunlight...

Pretty much every sensor on my 05's is available through the app.

Hi I found the one that I bought on Ebay from a boat/Merc Dealer in Las Vegas who put it on sale for black Friday. I think that he's out of stock as he only had a few of them but you can still get a nice deal on these on Amazon for a limited time only for $173 vs the $225 normal retail price. BTW this will work on many different Merc engines including outboards, it looks like the features that are available to you depend on the engine's computer model that's why I'm curious to see if the PCM 555 that are on the 496 Mag HO engines will show the real time fuel pressure on this app while the engine is running at various throttle positions.

Here's what Diacom software pulled from the 496HO (2004) I owned. I assume this is everything Smartcraft pulled. No fuel pressure, but it showed fuel flow in GPH. I have Verados now and it does show fuel PSI.

This is from a 2005 525efi, it does show fuel PSI.
