What to expect from these. Any known non engine issues to be aware of. Are they as good in rough water as claimed. I’d think however have no direct experience with.

X shaped bracing underneath the engines on early 36’s
The 33 is a great boat, well balanced, nimble IMO the best boat they made

I know a guy at my condo complex bought a used 33 and after purchase found at least one cracked stringer that he had to get fixed, but don't know any details.

Tks guys. I saw a used one minus engines for sale and always assumed they were a nice ride in Great Lakes. My 28 challenger was a fantastic ride with the V all the way to the transom. Sacrificed speed but was a heck of a nice ride. There’s no pad on them is there? Only problem I’m facing is the drives not holding up to the power. Bravo 1’s. I’ve got a pair of NA 565’s near complete.
I’ve been in a lot of different boats in the 28 to 42 range and can’t stand the re-entry hard hitting type. 24 V is hard to beat in that length I’d think anyway.
