How do you deal with someones death??
A friend of mine died last night in a car accident and I was told about it today. It is to weird to think how im not going to talk to him again EVER. How is the best way to deal with it?

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. The only word I have for you is courage. I say this time and time again to everyone who has lost someone, even here on the board........It's not life that matters, it is the courage you bring to it. You will be in my thoughts.

Very sorry to hear that. I went through the same thing several times at your age. It sucks big time. I hate to say it, but it will take time to heal, and in time, you will know how better to manage that healing process. Very sorry for your loss, and keep your chin up.

Sorry to hear about your lost . It's one of lifes cold cruel lessons that we all must deal with at one time or another . Just try to think of him being in a better place than this earth , remember the good times and he'll live in your heart forever

It's never easy, especially the first time. Lost one of my best friends in college, over the summer while he was on vacation. Walking along the shore on a rock outcrop, slipped hit his head, and drowned we guess. Never found him.
It's been 14 years and I still remember exactly when I got the call. Polished off the better part of a 12pack staring at the TV. Hardest part of all was trying to be strong for his girlfriend. They were planning on getting married right after the next (last) year of college.
Hang in there. Time goes by and you get over it, even though you never quite forget. But that's a good thing. The first time will effect your entire life. It is then that you recognize that you're not indestructible, that life is precious and sometimes tragically short. It's one of life's lessons, there will be many.
As Don Aronow said, "Live every day to it's fullest for you give a day of your life to it".
