Hi Folks,
I live in Nova Scotia and want to do a bucket list trip to the upcoming races.
Looking for tips.
I would fly to Miami and rent a car, there are a few affordable motels left, walkable to Duvall St, Simonton Street area but I would need to book quick.
Flying from here to KW is double what it is to Miami.
Is that a good location,
Is the race viewing area walkable from there.
What about area beaches, anything walkable.
Small boat rentals?
Ride along for gas money??
Any tips are welcome.

Well worth the trip . Just go ahead and put it together you won’t be sorry ! A great place to watch is Mallory Square , unless things have changed. That will be walkable from Simonton . Great race and even better parties !

The Poker Run boats are scattered around town, but most of them and the action are centers in the Seaport at The Conch Republic Seafood Company. All of the race boats are at the Truman Waterfront park, at the end of Southard Street. There will be plenty of action all week. Come say hello , our team is The S-43 Celsius boat. I lived in Cape Breton, NS for a time when I was young.
