I picked up a new to me trailer for my 24 baja outlaw and had a question about bunk placement before I swap the boat on the trailer. The current trailer has 4 bunks ( red lines represent where the bunks are currently. Question I have is should I add another set of bunks to the new trailer to better match the original trailer set up ?

Thanks,
Nick

The twin bunks work fine. It is a different style of trailer. Just line up where the boat sits by putting it on and make sure both of the tires are even in "squashing" that way you know your COG is in the right place. Then adjust your front stop so each time you put it in the same place.
Only other suggestion is make sure you strap down the rear of the boat to the trailer and if you are taking a long trip run a strap straight down from the ring. This will VASTLY improve the trailer flex.

But.... I would put my method against anyone, I do it on a regular basis hauling boats and rarely do we have the same boat twice, let alone length, weight etc. Maybe its just practice?
